The Animals Vinyl Records

The Animals are an English rock band, originally formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1962. The original members were Eric Burdon (vocals), Alan Price (keyboards), Chas Chandler (bass), Hilton Valentine (guitar) and John Steel (drums). They were part of the British Invasion, along with the Beatles, and became well known for their hit singles "House of the Rising Sun" and "We Gotta Get Out of This Place".

The Animals released their debut album, The Animals, in 1964. It contained their breakthrough hit, "House of the Rising Sun", as well as other singles such as "I'm Crying" and "Baby Let Me Take You Home". The album was a success, reaching number six on the UK Albums Chart.

In 1965, the band released their second album, Animal Tracks. It featured the hit single "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" as well as "It's My Life" and "Boom Boom". The album was even more successful than the first, reaching number four on the UK Albums Chart.

The band's third album, The Animals On Tour, was released in 1965. It featured the hits "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" and "Don't Bring Me Down", as well as other singles such as "I'm in Love Again" and "Take It Easy".

The band released their fourth and final album, Animalisms, in 1966. It featured the hits "See See Rider" and "Inside-Looking Out", as well as other singles such as "Help Me Girl" and "Bright Lights Big City".

The Animals disbanded in 1966, with Burdon and Price forming the band Eric Burdon & The Animals. They released several albums and singles, including the hit single "San Franciscan Nights".

An interesting fact about The Animals is that they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
