Ten Years After Vinyl Records
Ten Years After is an English blues rock band that was formed in Nottingham in 1967. The original lineup included Alvin Lee on guitar and vocals, Chick Churchill on organ, Ric Lee on drums, and Leo Lyons on bass. They are best known for their performances at Woodstock in 1969 and the hit single "I'm Going Home".
Ten Years After's debut album, "Ten Years After", was released in 1967 and featured the single "I Can't Keep From Crying". The band's second album, "Stonedhenge", was released in 1969 and featured the single "Hear Me Calling". The band's third album, "Cricklewood Green", was released in 1970 and featured the singles "Love Like a Man" and "I'd Love to Change the World".
The band's fourth album, "A Space in Time", was released in 1971 and featured the singles "I'd Love to Change the World" and "Here They Come". The album was the band's most successful, reaching number 7 on the UK Albums Chart and number 17 on the US Billboard 200.
The band's fifth album, "Rock & Roll Music to the World", was released in 1972 and featured the single "Going Back to Birmingham". The band's sixth album, "Watt", was released in 1973 and featured the singles "I'm Coming On" and "Standing at the Station".
The band's seventh album, "Positive Vibrations", was released in 1974 and featured the singles "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" and "I'm Writing a Letter". The album was the band's last album to feature Alvin Lee, who left the band in 1975.
The band released several more albums without Alvin Lee, but none of them achieved the same success as their early albums.
Interesting Fact: Ten Years After was the first band to be signed to Chrysalis Records, the record label that would later become home to artists such as Blondie and The Who.
