Taste Vinyl Records

Taste was an Irish blues-rock band formed in 1966 in Cork, Ireland by guitarist Rory Gallagher. The original lineup featured Gallagher, bassist Richard McCracken, and drummer John Wilson.

The band released their self-titled debut album in 1968, which featured the single "Blister on the Moon". Taste's next album, On the Boards, was released in 1969 and featured their most popular single, "What's Going On". This album also featured the singles "Sugar Mama" and "Catfish", both of which were later featured in the film Goodfellas.

Taste's third album, Live Taste, was released in 1970 and featured their most popular song, "If the Day Was Any Longer". The album also featured the singles "Eat My Words" and "I'll Remember".

In 1971, Taste disbanded due to Gallagher's pursuit of a solo career. However, they reunited briefly in 1993 to record a live album.

An interesting fact about Taste is that they have been cited as an influence by many notable musicians, including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Steve Winwood.
