System Of A Down Vinyl Records

System of a Down is an Armenian-American rock band formed in Glendale, California in 1995. It consists of vocalist Serj Tankian, guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadjian and drummer John Dolmayan. The band has released five studio albums: System of a Down (1998), Toxicity (2001), Steal This Album! (2002), Mezmerize (2005), and Hypnotize (2005).

System of a Down's most successful albums are Toxicity and Mezmerize/Hypnotize, which have both been certified 3x Platinum in the United States. The album's lead single "Chop Suey!" peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, and the follow-up single "Aerials" peaked at number one. Other popular singles include "Toxicity", "B.Y.O.B.", "Hypnotize" and "Lonely Day".

An interesting fact about System of a Down is that they are one of the few rock bands that feature dual vocalists. Both Tankian and Malakian sing and write the lyrics to their songs, which creates a unique sound and allows the band to explore a wide range of topics.
