Supergrass is an English alternative rock band from Oxford, England, formed in 1993. The band consists of Gaz Coombes (lead vocals, guitar), Mick Quinn (bass, backing vocals) and Danny Goffey (drums, backing vocals). The band is known for their upbeat, catchy and often tongue-in-cheek songs, blending elements of alternative rock, Britpop and punk rock.

Supergrass released their debut album, I Should Coco, in 1995, which was a commercial and critical success. The album featured the hit single "Alright", which reached number two in the UK Singles Chart. Other standout tracks from the album include "Caught by the Fuzz", "Lose It", and "Mansize Rooster".

The band's follow-up album, In It for the Money, was released in 1997, and again was a critical and commercial success. It featured the hit singles "Richard III" and "Sun Hits the Sky".

Their third album, Supergrass, was released in 1999, and saw the band further exploring their sound, with a mix of upbeat rockers and moodier, more reflective songs. Standout tracks from the album include "Mary", "Pumping on Your Stereo", and "Moving".

Supergrass' fourth album, Life on Other Planets, was released in 2002, and featured the hit single "Grace", which was the band's highest-charting single in the UK, reaching number four in the UK Singles Chart.

In 2009, Supergrass released their fifth and final album, Diamond Hoo Ha. The album featured the singles "Bad Blood" and "Diamond Hoo Ha Man".

An interesting fact about Supergrass is that they provided the theme song for the 1997 film adaptation of the comic book character The Mask.
