Stephen Stills is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. He is best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Stills first rose to prominence as a member of Buffalo Springfield and wrote many of the band's songs, including "For What It's Worth", which became a protest anthem.

Stills has released seven solo albums, and his most successful studio albums are Stephen Stills (1970) and Stephen Stills 2 (1971). His standout songs include "Love the One You're With," "Change Partners," "My Love Is a Gentle Thing," "Go Back Home," and "Treetop Flyer."

An interesting fact about Stephen Stills is that he is the only person to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, as a solo artist and as a member of Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
