Stephen Cummings is an Australian singer-songwriter and rock musician who has been active in the music industry since the late 1970s. He is best known for his solo career and his work with the rock band The Sports.

Stephen Cummings' first solo album, Senso, was released in 1981, and was followed by the popular albums Lovetown (1989) and A New Kind of Blue (1990). His 1993 album, Escapist, was nominated for an ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album. His 1995 album, Falling Swinger, was voted one of the top ten albums of the year by The Age newspaper.
