Soundgarden Vinyl Records

Soundgarden is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1984. The band was one of the pioneers of grunge music, helping to define the genre with their signature sound. Their breakthrough album was the 1994 release Superunknown, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and went on to be certified five times platinum. The album featured some of the band's most popular songs, including "Black Hole Sun", "My Wave", and "Spoonman". Other noteworthy albums include Louder Than Love (1989), Badmotorfinger (1991), and Down on the Upside (1996).

The band has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards, winning two for Best Metal Performance for "Spoonman" and "Black Hole Sun". Other popular songs include "Fell on Black Days", "Outshined", and "Rusty Cage".

An interesting fact about Soundgarden is that they were the first grunge band to sign to a major label (A&M Records in 1988).
