Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. The band's classic lineup consists of vocalist and guitarist Mike Ness, guitarist Jonny Wickersham, bassist Brent Harding, and drummer David Hidalgo, Jr. The band has released seven studio albums, with their most recent being Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes in 2011.

Some of the band's most notable albums include Mommy's Little Monster (1983), Prison Bound (1988), and White Light, White Heat, White Trash (1996). Some of their most popular songs include "Story of My Life", "Ball and Chain", "I Was Wrong", and "Reach for the Sky".
