Soca
Soca is a style of Caribbean music originating in Trinidad and Tobago in the late 1960s. It combines African and East Indian rhythms with elements of calypso and Indian music. Soca music is upbeat and celebratory, and is often played at Carnival celebrations, sporting events, and other festive occasions. It is the national music of Trinidad and Tobago, and its popularity has spread throughout the Caribbean and to other parts of the world.
