Sheila E. is an American singer, percussionist, and drummer. She rose to fame in the 1980s, working with Prince and other notable artists. Her debut album, The Glamorous Life, was released in 1984 and spawned the top 10 hit of the same name. The album also included the singles "The Belle of St. Mark" and "A Love Bizarre".

Sheila E. continued to release music throughout the 1980s, including Romance 1600 (1985), Sheila E. (1987), and Sex Cymbal (1989). In the 1990s, she released Writes of Passage (1998), Heaven (2001), and Icon (2009).

Sheila E. has had several standout songs throughout her career, including “The Glamorous Life”, “A Love Bizarre”, “The Belle of St. Mark”, “Hold Me”, “Romance 1600”, “Koo Koo”, and “Amor Amor”.

An interesting fact about Sheila E. is that she has performed at the White House three times, most recently in 2014 for a tribute to Stevie Wonder.
