Porcupine Tree Vinyl Records

Porcupine Tree is an English progressive rock band formed in 1987 by Steven Wilson. The band has released nine studio albums, two live albums, four EPs, eleven compilations and one video album. Their most popular album is In Absentia (2002), which was released to critical acclaim and reached number 6 in the UK Rock & Metal Chart. It features the singles "Trains", "Lips of Ashes" and "The Sound of Muzak".

The band's standout albums include Fear of a Blank Planet (2007), The Incident (2009) and Deadwing (2005). Fear of a Blank Planet is a concept album that deals with the issues of youth depression and apathy, and features the single "Anesthetize". The Incident is a double album that deals with the concept of death and the afterlife. Deadwing is a concept album based on the film of the same name, featuring the singles "Shallow" and "Lazarus".

An interesting fact about Porcupine Tree is that they are one of the few bands to have been signed to a major label, despite their progressive rock sound. They were signed to Atlantic Records in 2006 and released their last studio album, The Incident, on the label.
