Pierre Boulez Vinyl Records

Pierre Boulez was a French composer, conductor, and scholar of 20th-century music. He was born in 1925 in Montbrison, France, and was a child prodigy who began studying music at the age of 10. He studied composition at the Paris Conservatoire and later became a conductor.

Boulez is best known for his works as a composer, which often combined classical music with elements of electronic and experimental music. His standout albums include Structures (1961), Pli selon pli (1957-1962), and Répons (1981-1985). His songs include "Le marteau sans maître" (1954), "Notations I-IV" (1945-1948), and "Rituel in memoriam Bruno Maderna" (1975).

An interesting fact about Boulez is that he was the first conductor of the New York Philharmonic's Digital Concert Hall, a virtual concert hall that streamed performances from the New York Philharmonic in real time. He was also the first conductor to record an album with the Ensemble InterContemporain.
