Notorious B.I.G., also known as Biggie Smalls and born Christopher Wallace, was a rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He was considered one of the most influential hip hop artists of all time and was listed by Rolling Stone as one of the Greatest Artists of All Time.

Biggie began his career in 1992, when he released his first single, "Party and Bullshit". He then released his debut album, Ready to Die, in 1994, which featured the singles "Juicy" and "Big Poppa". The album was a commercial success and received critical acclaim, earning Biggie a Grammy nomination. His second album, Life After Death, was released in 1997 and featured the hit singles "Hypnotize" and "Mo Money Mo Problems".
