St. Paul & The Broken Bones – Sea Of Noise

Since 2012, the eight-piece band St. Paul & The Broken Bones have been shaking up the United States with their infectious southern soul - with "Sea Of Noise", band leader Paul Janeway & Co. are now releasing their second album on September 9. The longplayer will be released on the newly founded label Records (a collaboration between music business legend Barry Weiss and Songs Music Publishing (The Weeknd, Diplo, DJ Mustard, Lorde). The debut of the band from Birmingham/Alabama entitled "Half The City" was released in February 2014.

On "Sea Of Noise", the band once again impresses with its trademark sound of old-school R&B, soul, funk and rock. Many of the songs are united by a common theme, which the band wants to be understood as a commentary on today's society. The musical development that the band has undergone in recent years is already evident in the opening track "Crumbling Light Posts, Pt. 1", the start of a three-part song trilogy on "Sea Of Noise". Other highlights of the album: "All I Ever Wonder", "I'll Be Your Woman", "Waves" and "Burning Rome".

The predecessor 'Half The City' had received great reviews, from USA Today to Esquire and Paste. Their explosive concerts made them one of the most popular live bands in the country and earned them an invitation from the Rolling Stones to open two shows. They have appeared on the TV shows CBS Saturday Morning, Jimmy Kimmel Live and David Letterman's The Late Show and have wowed audiences at major festivals in the USA, such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Coachella.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones consists of Paul Janeway (vocals), Jesse Phillips (bass) Browan Lollar (guitar), Al Gamble (keyboards) Andrew Lee (drums) Allen Bransetter (trumpet), Chad Fisher (trombone) and Jason Mingledorff (saxophone).
