Jimmy Page, The Black Crowes – Live At The Greek (2xLP)

Live at the Greek, recorded over October 18–19, 1999 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and first released in February 2000, captures an electrifying collaboration between Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes. The performance blends Led Zeppelin classics, blues standards, and high-voltage rock, with Page joining a band already steeped in roots and swagger. Production by Kevin Shirley allows the performances to breathe, highlighting the chemistry between Page’s guitar work and Chris Robinson’s vocal command. The original release was constrained by contractual limitations that prevented inclusion of Crowes songs, but the 25th Anniversary Edition restores 16 previously excluded tracks and outtakes. 

The album serves as both a celebration and an accommodation—a chance to hear Page reanimated within a live context, and The Black Crowes stepping into a rare, high-stakes collaboration.
