Lyn Collins – Think (About It)

Lyn Collins came to prominence in the 60s as a member of James Brown’s legendary group. Her solo career started in 1971 and she hit paydirt in 1972 when her Brown penned and produced 7” ‘Think (About It)’ reached #9 on the R&B chart and #66 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Collins debut album “Think (About It)” quickly followed and, as well as containing the hit single, also featured Collins' take on Bill Wither’s ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’, Bacharach and David’s ‘Reach Out For Me’ as well as Brown’s ‘Woman’s Lib’ and ‘Things Got To Get Better’ that he co-wrote with Pee Wee Ellis.
