  • "Bête Noire" is the seventh solo studio album by English singer Bryan Ferry. It was a commercial and critical success, reaching number 9 in the UK and being certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry.

The first single "The Right Stuff" - a collaboration with Johnny Marr, taken from the Smiths' instrumental B-side "Money Changes Everything" - was the album's only top 40 UK placement, reaching number 37. The second single "Kiss and Tell" made the Top 40 in the US (and became Ferry's only solo single to reach the US Top 40). The song also appeared in the movie Bright Lights, Big City. The third and final single, "Limbo", reached #86 in the U.K. The promotional video for "Kiss and Tell" features models Denice Lewis (who is also featured on the single's cover photo), Christine Keeler cover photo), Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies.
