Mike Bloomfield (1943-1981) was an American guitarist, composer, and singer who was a major figure in the early blues-rock music scene of the 1960s. He was one of the most prominent figures in the blues-rock scene and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. He is best known for his work with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Electric Flag, and Bob Dylan.
