MGMT Vinyl Records

MGMT is an American indie rock band from Middletown, Connecticut, formed in 2002 by Benjamin Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden. The duo is known for their psychedelic sound, blending elements of pop, electro, and rock music.

The band released their debut album, Oracular Spectacular, in 2007, which featured their hit single "Kids" and has since become a cult classic. This album, along with their sophomore effort Congratulations, catapulted the band to international fame. The former album featured singles such as "Electric Feel", "Time to Pretend", and "Weekend Wars", while the latter featured "Flash Delirium" and "Siberian Breaks".

In 2013, MGMT released their third album, MGMT, which featured the single "Alien Days". In 2018, the band released their fourth album, Little Dark Age, with singles such as "When You Die" and "Me and Michael".

An interesting fact about MGMT is that the band's name is an abbreviation for "Management". The two members of the band originally wanted to name their group "The Management", but they decided to shorten it to MGMT to make it easier to remember.
