McDonald & Giles Vinyl Records

McDonald & Giles was an English progressive rock band formed in 1969 by Ian McDonald and Michael Giles, both former members of the British band King Crimson. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1970, which featured vocalist and lyricist Steve Winwood. Their second and final album, titled "McDonald & Giles" was released in 1971.

The band's most popular album was the self-titled debut, which featured the song "Tomorrow's People" and "Suite in C". The album was hailed as an innovative blend of rock, folk, and classical music and is often cited as a precursor to the progressive rock movement of the 1970s.

The band disbanded in 1971, but their influence on the progressive rock genre can still be felt today. An interesting fact about the band is that their self-titled album was released on the same day as Led Zeppelin's fourth album, "Led Zeppelin IV", and was overshadowed by the latter's success.
