M83 Vinyl Records

M83 is a French electronic music project created in 2001 by Anthony Gonzalez. Gonzalez originally started M83 as a solo project and was later joined by Nicolas Fromageau to form the duo that has become synonymous with the project. M83's debut album, "Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts," was released in 2003 and was well-received by critics, gaining the duo critical acclaim.

M83's breakthrough album was "Saturdays = Youth," released in 2008. It was the band's most successful album to date, spawning the singles "Kim & Jessie" and "Graveyard Girl." The album was praised for its strong shoegaze influences, with many critics comparing it to My Bloody Valentine's landmark album "Loveless."

M83's most recent album, "Junk," was released in 2016 and featured the singles "Do It, Try It" and "Go!" The album was praised for its more upbeat and poppy sound, while still maintaining the atmospheric dream-pop of M83's earlier releases.

M83's music has featured in a number of films and television shows, such as "Divergent," "Grey's Anatomy," and "Stranger Things." An interesting fact about M83 is that they were the first French band to perform at Coachella in 2012.
