Kansas Vinyl Records

Kansas is an American rock band that formed in Topeka, Kansas in 1973. They are known for their progressive rock sound, which combined elements of classical, jazz, and symphonic rock. They achieved commercial success in the late 1970s and early 1980s with albums such as Leftoverture (1976) and Point of Know Return (1977). Kansas is best known for the singles "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind" from the 1977 album Point of Know Return.

Point of Know Return also achieved five times platinum status in the United States, and included the singles "Dust in the Wind" and "Point of Know Return". An interesting fact about Kansas is that their lead singer, Steve Walsh, is a self-taught pianist who learned to play the piano by listening to the radio. He was able to mimic the songs he heard, eventually becoming a proficient pianist.
