Julian Bream is one of the most renowned classical guitarists in history. Born in 1933 in London, he began studying the guitar at the age of 8, and soon after began to perform and record professionally. He is renowned for his interpretations of Renaissance and Baroque music, and for his performances of works by 20th century composers such as Benjamin Britten and William Walton. He has released a total of 30 albums, including several live recordings.
