José Carreras is a Spanish operatic tenor who has had a long and successful career on the international stage. He was born in Barcelona in 1946 and his professional career began in 1969 when he made his debut at the Liceu Opera House in Barcelona.

Throughout his career, José Carreras has released several albums, including “Opera Arias” (1978), “Romantic Classics” (1980), “Duets” (1991), and “Christmas Favorites” (2005). Some of his most popular songs include “Nessun Dorma”, “La Donna e Mobile”, “Libiamo ne’lieti calici”, and “O Soave Fanciulla”.

An interesting fact about José Carreras is that he was part of the “Three Tenors”, a popular operatic trio that included fellow tenors Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti. The trio released a successful album in 1990, which included the hit single “Granada”.
