Johnny Winter Vinyl Records

Johnny Winter was an American blues singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer. He began his career in the late 1960s and achieved international fame for his work in the 1970s. His style combined blues, rock, and jazz influences.

Winter's first major album, The Progressive Blues Experiment (1968), was an electrified version of the Delta blues sound. This album was followed by his breakthrough album, Second Winter (1969), which featured the hit single "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo". His next major album, Johnny Winter And (1970), was his first to reach the Top 40, peaking at number 24 on the Billboard charts.

Other notable albums include Still Alive and Well (1973), Saints and Sinners (1974), Nothin' But the Blues (1977), and Johnny Winter (1984). His standout songs include "Highway 61 Revisited", "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo", "Johnny B. Goode", and "Jumpin' Jack Flash".

An interesting fact about Johnny Winter is that he was an avid collector of vintage guitars. He owned more than 100 vintage guitars at the time of his death in 2014.
