John Mayall is an English blues singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader. He was born in 1933 in Macclesfield, England and has been performing since the early 1960s. He is best known as the founder of the legendary blues band The Bluesbreakers.
Mayall has released over 30 albums over the years and has worked with many notable artists including Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor, and Mick Fleetwood. His most notable albums include A Hard Road (1967), Blues From Laurel Canyon (1968), and The Turning Point (1969).
Some of Mayall's most well-known songs include "The Supernatural," "All Your Love," and "Room To Move."
An interesting fact about John Mayall is that he was a major influence on the British blues scene in the 1960s and 1970s. He was also the first artist to record with the Rolling Stones and The Yardbirds.
