Illbient

Illbient is a style of experimental music that combines elements of hip-hop, ambient, dub, and electroacoustic music. It was developed in the early 1990s by artists such as Bill Laswell, Brian Eno, and The Orb. It typically features hypnotic grooves, dreamy atmospheres, and textured soundscapes. Illbient is often used in film and television soundtracks and is closely related to downtempo and trip-hop.
