Hozier is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician from County Wicklow, Ireland. He began his musical career in 2013 with the release of his debut EP, "Take Me to Church". His self-titled debut album was released in 2014 and was a commercial success, reaching number two on the Irish Albums Chart and number one on the US Rock Albums Chart. It included the hit single, "Take Me to Church", which won him two Grammy Award nominations in 2015. His second studio album, "Wasteland, Baby!" was released in 2019 and topped the Irish Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200, becoming his first number-one album in the US.
