Hot Chocolate is a British soul and pop band formed in London, England in 1968. The group had at least one hit every year between 1970 and 1984 and their most successful period was during the mid-1970s. They achieved 17 top-40 hits in the UK, including four number one singles: "You Sexy Thing" (1975), "So You Win Again" (1977), "Every 1's a Winner" (1978) and "No Doubt About It" (1981).

The band's most acclaimed album is their 1975 self-titled debut, Hot Chocolate. The album featured their hit single "You Sexy Thing", as well as the ballad "Emma" and the up-tempo "Brother Louie". Their other popular albums include Man to Man (1976), Every 1's a Winner (1978), and Mystery (1982).

An interesting fact about Hot Chocolate is that they have been cited as a major influence by many pop and soul acts, including Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, and the British girl group Spice Girls. They have also been sampled by artists such as Eminem and Black Eyed Peas.
