Godley & Creme Vinyl Records

Godley & Creme were an English rock band formed in Stockport, England, in 1977 by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. The two had been members of the successful 1970s band 10cc, but after leaving in 1976, they formed their own partnership, producing and writing music for both themselves and other artists.

Godley & Creme released a series of acclaimed albums, including Freeze Frame (1979), Ismism (1981) and Goodbye Blue Sky (1988). Their music was a blend of art rock, new wave, and pop, and featured their signature sound of overlapping vocal harmonies.

Some of their most popular songs include "Cry," "An Englishman in New York," and "Under Your Thumb."

An interesting fact about Godley & Creme is that they are credited as being one of the first artists to use the 'gated reverb' drum sound, which was made famous by Phil Collins in the 1980s.
