Frankie Goes To Hollywood Vinyl Records

Frankie Goes To Hollywood was an English pop band that rose to fame in the early 1980s. The group was formed in Liverpool in 1980 by vocalist Holly Johnson, bassist Peter Gill, guitarist Brian Nash, keyboardist Paul Rutherford and drummer Mark O'Toole. Their first single, "Relax," was an instant success, topping the UK Singles Chart in 1983.

The band's debut album, Welcome to the Pleasuredome (1984), was a huge success and spawned two further chart-topping singles, "Two Tribes" and "The Power of Love." Their follow-up album, Liverpool (1986), was less successful and the group disbanded soon after its release.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood's biggest hits included "Relax," "Two Tribes," "The Power of Love," "Welcome to the Pleasuredome," and "Warriors of the Wasteland."

An interesting fact about Frankie Goes To Hollywood is that their single "Relax" was banned by the BBC due to its suggestive lyrics, making it one of the most controversial singles of the 1980s.
