Fontaines D.C. Vinyl Records

Fontaines D.C. is an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 2017. The band is composed of vocalist Grian Chatten, guitarists Carlos O'Connell and Conor Deegan, bassist Conor Curley, and drummer Tom Coll.

The band's debut album Dogrel was released in April 2019, to critical acclaim. The album was nominated for the Mercury Prize and was praised for its post-punk sound and Chatten's witty and poetic lyrics. Notable tracks on the album include the lead single "Liberty Belle," the hard-hitting "Chequeless Reckless," and the dreamy "Boys in the Better Land."

In 2020, Fontaines D.C. released their sophomore album A Hero's Death. This album features more experimental and synth-driven sounds, as well as darker and more introspective lyrics. Popular tracks from the album include the title track "A Hero's Death," "Televised Mind," and "Living in America."

An interesting fact about Fontaines D.C. is that they are a part of the Irish punk scene, which is considered to be a huge influence on their sound. They have shared stages with notable Irish punk acts such as The Blades, The Radiators from Space, and The Pogues.
