Fleet Foxes Vinyl Records
Fleet Foxes is an indie folk band formed in Seattle, Washington in 2006 by Robin Pecknold, Skyler Skjelset, Casey Wescott, Christian Wargo and Nicholas Peterson. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2008 to critical acclaim, and it has since been hailed as one of the best indie folk albums of the 2000s. It featured singles such as "White Winter Hymnal," "Mykonos," and "He Doesn't Know Why," all of which helped establish the band as one of the most successful and influential indie folk acts of the decade.
Their second album, Helplessness Blues, was released in 2011 and was equally praised by critics. It featured singles such as "The Shrine/An Argument," "Battery Kinzie," and "Grown Ocean," and it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album.
Their third album, Crack-Up, was released in 2017 and received even more critical acclaim than the first two. It featured singles such as "Third of May/Ōdaigahara," "Fool's Errand," and "I Should See Memphis," and it was nominated for the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
An interesting fact about Fleet Foxes is that the band was originally named "Peadar", which is a Gaelic term for "Peter". However, the band changed their name shortly before their debut album was released because they felt that "Fleet Foxes" was a better fit.
