Euro House
Euro House is a style of electronic dance music that emerged in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is a combination of elements from house music, Euro disco, and techno music. The style was popularized by DJs and producers from the UK and Germany, particularly by the likes of The KLF, S-Express, Black Box, and Snap. The style combines the four-on-the-floor beat of house music with melodic elements of Euro disco and the heavy basslines of techno. The style is typically characterized by a four-on-the-floor beat, heavily distorted basslines, samples, synthesized percussion, and pitch-shifted vocals. Euro House also includes elements of other genres such as hip-hop and reggae.
