Eric Burdon & War Vinyl Records

Eric Burdon & War was an American funk rock band formed in 1969, when the British singer Eric Burdon (formerly of The Animals) joined the Los Angeles-based Latin rock group War. The band became known for its mix of funk, soul, rock and Latin rhythms, and for its socially conscious lyrics.

Their most successful albums include their debut LP, Eric Burdon Declares "War" (1970), which featured the hit single "Spill the Wine", and their follow-up album, The Black-Man's Burdon (1970), which featured the hits "Tobacco Road" and "They Can't Take Away Our Music". The band's final album, Why Can't We Be Friends? (1975), featured the singles "Low Rider" and "Why Can't We Be Friends?".

Some of their most popular songs include "Spill the Wine", "Tobacco Road", "The Cisco Kid", "They Can't Take Away Our Music", "Low Rider", and "Why Can't We Be Friends?".

An interesting fact about Eric Burdon & War is that they were the first act to appear at the original Woodstock Festival in 1969, before the event had officially started.
