His career began in 1954 when he recorded a single for Sun Records, which launched him to fame. Elvis released a total of 61 albums during his career, including his debut album Elvis Presley (1956), and From Elvis in Memphis (1969), which featured some of his most successful singles, including “Suspicious Minds” and “In the Ghetto”. His standout albums also include Elvis Is Back! (1960), Elvis Country (1971), and Elvis Presley (1973). An interesting fact about Elvis Presley is that he was posthumously inducted into four music halls of fame: the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998, the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2001, and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2009.
