Ed Kuepper Vinyl Records
Ed Kuepper is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist best known as the co-founder and lead guitarist of the bands The Saints and Laughing Clowns. He has released over twenty solo albums and has been an integral part of the Australian punk and post-punk scenes since the late 1970s.
Kuepper's first solo album, Room Full of Sparks, was released in 1981 and is considered to be a seminal post-punk album. He followed this up with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including Honey Steels Gold (1983), Electric Digger Dandy (1986), and The Blacksmith's Dream (1998). His most recent album is 2019's A King in Every Heart.
Kuepper's most popular songs include "Laughing Clowns", "Nothing's Going To Happen", "The Way I Made You Feel", "Today Wonder", and "It's Not The Law".
An interesting fact about Ed Kuepper is that he has collaborated with a variety of artists, including Nick Cave, The Go-Betweens, and Eddie Vedder. He also wrote the score for the 2006 Australian film "The Proposition".
