Ebm

EBM (Electronic Body Music) is a style of electronic music that emerged in the early 1980s as an offshoot of industrial music. It combines elements of industrial, post-punk, and synthpop with a heavy emphasis on rhythm and percussion. It was pioneered by acts such as Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, and Ministry. EBM has been influential in the development of electronic dance music genres such as techno, drum and bass, and dubstep.
