Drake is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur who first rose to fame as an actor in the Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation. Drake began his music career in 2006 with the release of his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement. Since then, he has released five studio albums, all of which have achieved great commercial and critical success.

Drake's breakout album was his third, Take Care (2011). This album features hit singles such as "Headlines" and "Take Care," which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. His fourth studio album, Nothing Was the Same (2013), was an even bigger success, with hit singles such as "Hold On, We're Going Home" and "Started from the Bottom." His fifth studio album, Scorpion (2018), is his most successful album to date, and features the singles "God's Plan," "Nice for What," and "In My Feelings," which broke multiple streaming records and earned Drake his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.

An interesting fact about Drake is that he is the first artist to have all singles from a studio album reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. He achieved this with his fifth studio album, Scorpion, in 2018.
