Denzel Curry is an American rapper and singer from Carol City, Florida. He is a member of the Florida-based hip hop collective C9, which stands for Carol City 9, along with Nell, Robb Bank$, Yung Simmie and Wifisfuneral. Curry began his career in 2010 and released his debut mixtape, King Remembered Underground Tape 1991-1995, in 2011. His debut studio album, Nostalgic 64, was released in 2013 and his second album, Imperial, was released in 2016. His most recent album, Ta13oo, was released in 2018.

Denzel Curry's standout albums include Imperial, which features his signature sound of hard-hitting beats, aggressive rapping and dark subject matter, and Ta13oo, which features some of his most popular songs to date, including "Sumo", "Clout Cobain" and "Black Balloons".
