Danny Brown is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. His career began in 2007 when he released his debut mixtape, The Hybrid. His second mixtape, Hot Soup, caught the attention of music producers and helped him land a record deal with Fool’s Gold Records in 2010.

Brown has released four studio albums throughout his career, the most notable being XXX (2011), Old (2013), Atrocity Exhibition (2016), and Uknowhatimsayin¿ (2019). He is known for his distinct vocal style which incorporates both high-pitched shrieks and low-pitched growls.
