Classix Nouveaux Vinyl Records

Classix Nouveaux was a British New Wave/synthpop band formed in 1979. The group was composed of vocalist Sal Solo, guitarist Steve Skolnik, and keyboardist Ian Burden. They were signed to the independent record label and shop, Neon Records, which was owned by the band's producer, Mike Thorne.

Classix Nouveaux released their debut album, "Night People" in 1981, which became a huge hit in the UK and Europe, reaching the top five in the UK Albums Chart and going gold. The band achieved further success with their second album, "The Best of Classix Nouveaux" (1982), which featured the singles "Never Never Comes" and "Is It A Dream".

Other standout albums by Classix Nouveaux include "Secret (1985)", which spawned the hit singles "Guilty" and "In a Manner of Speaking", and "Love and Romance" (1986). The band also released several other singles throughout their career, such as "Heart From The Start" and "Prophecy".

An interesting fact about Classix Nouveaux is that they never achieved the same level of commercial success in the United States that they did in the UK and Europe.
