Chrysalis Records is one of Britain’s leading independent labels, responsible for shaping the music industry with a catalogue of timeless hits and era-defining songs. Co-founded by Chris Wright CBE and Terry Ellis in 1968, Chrysalis Records went on to enjoy tremendous success in the UK and internationally, launching and developing the careers of countless artists, before it was sold to EMI in 1989.
