Carl Craig Vinyl Records

Carl Craig is a Detroit-born electronic music producer, DJ and record label owner who has been active in the Detroit techno scene since the late 1980s. His work has been widely acclaimed for its innovative production techniques and melodic fusion of house and techno music. He is widely credited as being a major influence in the development of modern electronic music. Carl Craig's earliest releases were on labels such as KMS, Fragile and Detroit's own Underground Resistance. His standout albums include More Songs About Food and Revolutionary Art (1997), Landcruising (2000) and the critically acclaimed The Detroit Experiment (2003). He also founded his own record label, Planet E Communications, in 1991 and released his own album, Sessions, in 1995. Carl Craig has produced some of the most iconic songs in electronic music, including "At Les", "Angel", "Sandstorms", "Technology" and "Darkness". He is also known for remixing artists such as Depeche Mode, St. Germain and De La Soul. An interesting fact about Carl Craig is that he is an avid collector of vintage synthesizers and drum machines. He has been quoted as saying that he likes to find "old dusty stuff" to work with and that he is always on the lookout for rare instruments and pieces of equipment.
