Buzzcocks Vinyl Records
Buzzcocks is a punk rock band that originated in Manchester, England in 1976. Formed by Pete Shelley and Howard Devoto, the group is considered to be one of the most influential and important bands of the punk movement. They are also credited with helping to popularize the pop punk sound that would later become popular in the late 1990s.
The band's debut album, "Another Music in a Different Kitchen," was released in 1978 and featured the songs "Boredom," "Fast Cars," and "What Do I Get?" These songs were influential in helping to shape the sound of punk rock. Other standout albums by the band include "Love Bites" (1978), "A Different Kind of Tension" (1979), and "Singles Going Steady" (1979).
The band is also well-known for their singles "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)," "Orgasm Addict," and "Promises."
An interesting fact about Buzzcocks is that their song "What Do I Get?" was the first punk rock single released in the United Kingdom. It reached number 33 on the UK Singles Chart in 1978.
