Blondie Vinyl Records

Blondie is an American rock band that formed in New York City in 1974. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The original line-up also included drummer Clem Burke, bassist Gary Valentine and keyboardist Jimmy Destri.

Blondie's breakout album was their third studio album, Parallel Lines, released in 1978. The album featured the hit singles "Heart of Glass", "One Way or Another" and "Hanging on the Telephone", and was certified Platinum in the US.

The band's next album, Eat to the Beat, was released in 1979 and was also a success, spawning the hit singles "Dreaming" and "Atomic". The album was certified Platinum in the US.

Blondie's fifth studio album, Autoamerican, was released in 1980 and included the hits "Rapture" and "The Tide Is High". The album was certified Platinum in the US.

The band released their sixth studio album, The Hunter, in 1982. The album featured the hit single "Island of Lost Souls".

Blondie's most successful single was "Call Me", which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart in 1980.

An interesting fact about Blondie is that they were the first group to have a rap single in the Top 40, with their song "Rapture".
