Black Pumas is an Austin-based psychedelic soul band founded by singer/songwriter Eric Burton and producer/guitarist Adrian Quesada in 2018. The band has released two studio albums, their self-titled debut in 2019 and their sophomore effort, "Colors," in 2021.

Their debut album, "Black Pumas," was an immediate success, garnering praise from critics and earning the band two Grammy Awards in 2020, Best New Artist and Best American Roots Performance for their single "Colors." The album also spawned the singles "Fire," "OCT 33," and "Black Moon Rising," all of which received critical acclaim and earned the band a loyal following.

The band's second album, "Colors," was released in 2021 and featured the singles "Fast Car Slow Traffic," "Touch The Sky," and "Stay Gold." The album earned the band another Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album.

An interesting fact about Black Pumas is that their music has been featured in several films, television shows, and video games.
