Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson are the songwriting duo behind the Swedish pop group ABBA. Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad (also known as Frida) were the two female vocalists for the group.

ABBA formed in 1972 and gained international success with their 1974 hit single "Waterloo". They went on to release eight studio albums from 1972 to 1981, becoming one of the world's best-selling music artists of all time. Their most successful albums include their self-titled debut album (1972), Arrival (1976), and Super Trouper (1980). Standout songs include "Mamma Mia", "Dancing Queen", "Take a Chance on Me", "The Winner Takes It All", and "Fernando".

An interesting fact about ABBA is that the group wrote and recorded their first songs in Swedish, despite the fact that all four members were native English speakers.
