Billy Ocean is a Trinidadian-born British recording artist who had a string of hit singles in the 1970s and 1980s. He is best known for his soulful, romantic ballads, such as “Caribbean Queen”, “Suddenly”, and “Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car”.

Billy Ocean’s first two albums, Billy Ocean (1976) and City Limit (1981), both spawned hit singles, but it was his third album, Suddenly (1984), that catapulted him to international fame. This album spawned three Top 10 singles, including the #1 hit “Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)”, as well as “Loverboy” and “Suddenly”.
